This starting hole offers a generous landing area with fairway bunkers and a water feature guarding the left side, mounding down the right. Use a driver or three-wood aiming down the right side of the fairway as the green opens up better from the right. Greenside bunkers guard the left side on your approach with a mid or short iron. Play for the middle of the green and hit one more club to challenge a back left pin location. Par is a good score on this opening hole.
