Atchafalaya at Idlewild -

Upon recommendation of our consultant, the Atchafalaya Golf Commission has approved opening the putting greens Saturday, August 22.

We are returning to mowing the greens daily and rolling weekly. Sand top dressing has to wait until this phase of the conversion is finished, so the greens will be a bit bumpy for a while. An overseed with a cool-season grass follows ahead of winter, which should speed up coverage and consistency across the putting surfaces.
